Edgar Cayce’s View
When asked what the New Age means to humanity, Edgar Cayce replied: “the full consciousness
of the ability to communicate with the Creative Forces and be aware of the relationships to the
Creative Forces and the uses of same in material environs. This awareness during the era or age
in the Age of Atlantis and Lemuria or Mu brought what? Destruction to man, and his beginning of
the needs of the journey up through that of selfishness.” (1602-3)
Cayce is informing us that in a previous time cycle, humanity had a level of consciousness and
relationship with the Creative Forces that allowed us to live at higher levels of material, mental, and
spiritual activity in the Earth and beyond. Unfortunately, we misused this consciousness and the
power that came with the close relationship to the Forces. This misuse brought on the destruction
of our great cultures and a long, karmic soul journey through the pain and confusion that resulted
from our selfishness and self-centered focus on our will without regard for the will of the Creator
and others. Now, as the cycles come around again, we are nearing a time when the level of
consciousness and relationship with the Creative Forces will allow us once again to regain these
powers.
How will we use them this time?

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the “sleeping prophet,” the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the
20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state,
diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come. But who, exactly, was Edgar Cayce?
Cayce was born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877, and his psychic abilities began to appear as early as his childhood. He was able
to see and talk to his late grandfather’s spirit, and often played with “imaginary friends” whom he said were spirits on the other side. He also
displayed an uncanny ability to memorize the pages of a book simply by sleeping on it. These gifts labeled the young Cayce as strange, but all
Cayce really wanted was to help others, especially children.
Later in life, Cayce would find that he had the ability to put himself into a sleep-like state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding
his hands over his stomach. In this state of relaxation and meditation, he was able to place his mind in contact with all time and space—the
universal consciousness, also known as the super-conscious mind. From there, he could respond to questions as broad as, “What are the
secrets of the universe?” and “What is my purpose in life?” to as specific as, “What can I do to help my arthritis?” and “How were the pyramids
of Egypt built? His responses to these questions came to be called “readings,” and their insights offer practical help and advice to individuals
even today.
Although Cayce died more than 60 years ago, the timeliness of the material in the readings—with subjects like how to discovering your
mission in life, developing your intuition, exploring ancient mysteries, and taking responsibility for your health--is evidenced by the hundreds of
books that have been written on the various aspects of this work as well as the dozen or so titles focusing on Cayce’s life itself. Together, these
books contain information so valuable that even Edgar Cayce himself might have hesitated to predict their impact on the contemporary world.
In 1945, the year of his passing, who could have known that terms such as “meditation,” “Akashic records,” “spiritual growth,” “auras,” “soul
mates,” and “holistic health” would become household words to millions?
The majority of Edgar Cayce's readings deal with holistic health and the treatment of illness. As it was at the time Cayce was giving readings,
still today, individuals from all walks of life and belief receive physical relief from illnesses or ailments through information given in the

Before we despair that humankind is going to misuse these again, let’s remember that many, many souls and even the Logos, the Word, have
come into materiality and continue to come to help prepare the way for rebirth and resurrection. We overestimate the power of the world and its
leaders. The unseen, heavenly forces have greater power and will overcome the world’s darkness and selfishness, breaking through with a
light that will transform this realm for a thousand years, when all evil and temptation will be bound and a golden age will reign. The biblical
book of the Revelation conveys this prophecy: “I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his
hand. He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a
thousand years.” (Rev. 20:2)
Of course, souls in the world must help lift humanity to higher levels of understanding, love, and spirituality.
Is 2012 the beginning of the fulfillment of these wonderful prophecies of the Izapa, Maya, Aztecs, Edgar Cayce, and the Revelation? Or, is it just
another step on the long journey toward such fulfillment? The answer depends on us. How many of us catch the vision and raise our vibrations
and consciousness to contribute to a truly new age of enlightenment will determine what occurs in January 2013.

"As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the
sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America. There will be the
upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the Torrid areas, and there will be shifting then of the
poles - so that where there has been those of a frigid or the semi-tropical will become the more tropical, and moss and fern will grow. And
these will begin in those periods in '58 to '98, when these will be proclaimed as the periods when His light will be seen again in the clouds. As
to times, as to seasons, as to places, ALONE is it given to those who have named the name - and who bear the mark of those of His calling
and His election in their bodies. To them it shall be given."
Question: "What are the world changes to come this year (1934) physically?"
EC: "The earth will be broken up in many places. The early portion will see a change in the physical aspect of the west coast of America. There
will be open waters appear in the northern portions of Greenland. There will be new lands seen off the Caribbean Sea, and DRY land will
appear. There will be the falling away in India of much of the material suffering that has been brought on a troubled people. There will be the
reduction of one risen to power in central Europe to naught. The young king son will soon reign. In America in the political forces we see a
re-stabilization of the powers of the peoples in their own hands, a breaking up of the rings, the cliques in many places. South America shall be
shaken from the uppermost portion to the end, and in the Antarctic off of Tierra Del Fuego LAND, and a strait with rushing waters."
Question: "To what country is the reference made regarding the young king?"
EC: "In Germany."

"If there are the greater activities in the Vesuvius, or Pelee, then the southern coast of California--and the areas between Salt Lake and the
southern portions of Nevada--may expect, within the three months following same, an inundation by the earthquakes.
"But these, as we find, are to be more in the southern than in the northern hemisphere."

"As to conditions in the geography of the world, of the country, - changes here are gradually coming about."
"No wonder, then, that the entity feels the need, the necessity for change of central location. For, many portions of the east coast will be
disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the U.S."
"In the next few years lands will appear in the Atlantic as well as in the Pacific. And what is the coast line now of many a land will be the bed of
the ocean. Even many of the battle fields of the present will be ocean, will be the seas, the bays, the lands over which the NEW order will carry
on their trade as one with another."
"Portions of the now east coast of New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation, though, here;
while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia - these will disappear. This will be much sooner."
